EROSION UPDATE

A significant amount of erosion has taken place particularly at the Medal 2nd  hole where the gravel path is only approximately 2-3 paces from the edge of the dune cliff, the recently erected chess pale fencing will have to be realigned again.  A decision will have to be made by the Greens Committee if the gravel path will have to be routed away from the erosion.

Another area which is causing concern is the top tee at the Medal 6th hole where some of the tee has slipped down the dune face again.  A decision will have to be made by the Greens Committee if the tee is safe to use in its current condition.

Picture above shows the Montrose Golf Links Course Manager Niall Bruce at the 6th Medal top tee which is eroding
