About Me

My photo
Montrose Golf Links
Ben Crenshaw former US Tour player and Ryder Cup Captain, once quoted a “magnificent stretch of marvellously natural ground which depicts how the game was born”. Montrose Links has been established as the 5th oldest course in the World and celebrated its 450th year in 2012. Sitting in the heart of Carnoustie Country only 1 hour away from St Andrews and Gleneagles and thirty minutes from Carnoustie itself, Montrose is an ideal base for a memorable golfing break. Local accommodation to suit is readily available. Montrose Links offers a fantastic golfing experience and reliable playing conditions throughout the year. Our classic links is complemented by our Broomfield links and together they provide an ideal 36 hole visitor day package. A warm welcome in our 3 clubs Montrose Caledonia, Montrose Mercantile and Royal Montrose is always guaranteed. A more detailed history of our Links can be read in our history tab.
